This site is so awesome. You can write something under Tributes the second tab, if you have something to share. You can add a picture and you can light a candle. You can read about his life, and look at his pictures and some videos of him four wheeling and having a blast. YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE VIDEO TWICE, THEY DONT PLAY RIGHT ON THE FIRST TIME, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, BUT THEY ARE WORTH THE TROUBLE.
This memorial is dedicated to our beloved son, Tyler Joe Beck who was born in Vincennes, Indiana on Friday May 17, 1985 at 09:57am. (My baby shower was on the 18th, so I was in the hospital having Tyler and they were all at my shower. Tyler was a little early like 2 weeks,) he weighed 7.9Lbs, and was 22 inches long. Tyler passed away on Sunday July 09, 2006 at the age of 21 years, 1 month & 22 days. Tyler fell asleep on his way to work in Lawrenceville, IL and had a wreck at 6:04 am. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:19 am. We will remember and miss him forever. He was a great person who his family and friends miss very much. Because he was so awesome we will never completely get over losing him so early in his life.
Tyler graduated in 2005 from ITT Technical Institute in Newburgh with honors; receiving an Associate Degree in Electronics, we were so proud of him and he was so proud that night, he was a great student he could do anything he wanted to and did.
Tyler graduated in 2003 from Pike Central High School, he was in wrestling one year and he played football for two years. He received an Honor of award for third place in an Ivy Tech drafting contest. Tyler & his girlfriend of 4 years Jessica Bowers were named Best Couples, there was a tie. them and Sam Hargus & Bridget Nelson.
He also attended Boonville Jr. High where he won second place in the state for his cookies, they were great too, peanut blossoms, Rumor has it he dropped the dough on the floor and picked it back up and used it. and hey he won 2nd in the whole state he got a blue ribbon and a certificate which is on this site.
Tyler lived life to the fullest and he always had fun, and he could make you smile if you were having the worst day of your life, he could get ya to smile, and could he talk. I think he got that from me, his mom. He use to call me all the time and other people too I am sure.
He also had the most unusual laugh, he would get laughing so hard his face would just crack you up and he would get going, well if you look at the video named, The bail of straw you can hear for yourself. We are comforted knowing that the little time we had with him was great, he was always a wonderful son and friend.
Tyler enjoyed too many things to list, these were his favorite: fishing, riding 4-wheelers, he got that from his dad they would fish and ride together, they were once in a school fishing contest at Lynnville Park, Tyler loved that. Tyler loved his 4-wheeler and riding. Once he ask me if he could race his, I said ask your dad about when he raced his motorcycle and see what he says and if he says ok then fine. He never raced his 4-wheeler, lol.
There are some videos on here of him 4-wheeling, thanks to Harley Franklin, who is Tyler's friend that came up on his wreck that morning and held our son and his friend until his last breath. The videos are priceless; they had a lot of great times.
Tyler also loved music and he always had to have the best systems that had BASS, he liked rap but I hear he was getting into some country also, he loved his cowboy boots he looked great in them too. He was a little bit country and a little bit city. He also had this thing about tennis shoes, he had to have the latest the best the most costly, and He got that from his aunt Tammy who spoiled him.
Tyler was a member of Aurthur General Baptist Church. He went on a mission with his dad and their church to Honduras to help build houses. He love to help anyone, he brought me back several things from there. Revern Terry Beatles said the kids loved him there, and he did love kids.
We laid our son to rest on Thursday July 13, 2006, which just happen to be the same day that his grandpa Beck died a few years before. Tyler is buried at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. In front of his grandpa Beck and he will be beside his dad, and his dad's wife. I will be in front of Tyler, my sister Starla, and my ma will be beside me. I cant see any other place for all of us than by our son, grandson and nephew.

OUR HAS BEEN BROKEN WITH NO REPAIR, WE WILL GRIEVE FOR HIM UNTIL WE ARE GONE OURSELVES. WE HAVE SOME COMFORT KNOWING THAT HE IS IN HEAVEN AND HE LEFT US AT THE HAPPIEST TIME OF HIS LIFE. HE HAD A WONDERFUL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS PARENTS AND HIS BROTHERS AND SISTER AND ALL HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Tyler did not have longevity in life but he had a great quality of life, he burned the candle at both ends. We our thankful for the 21 years of having him with us, although we wished we had more time with him, the 21 years we did have, is better than to have never known him at all.
